The activity aimed to encourage students to critically analyze research papers related to their mini project domains. By identifying research gaps, students were able to connect academic literature with their own project work, strengthening problem definition and innovation in their proposals.

The purpose of this journal club session was to enable students to explore how academic research findings in Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cybersecurity can be applied in real-world IT domains. Green Building
The programme on “Green Building” focused on sustainable and eco-friendly construction practices. It explained how green buildings save energy, reduce water use, and minimize waste. Students learned about the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and its rating systems. Examples of projects like Suzlon Energy Limited and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport were discussed. The session highlighted environmental, economic, and social benefits of green buildings. It encouraged engineers to adopt green technologies in future construction projects. Overall, the programme promoted awareness of sustainable development in civil engineering.
